Separate a note from a use instruction
An oud or incense note describes an advertised scent direction. It does not establish natural oud content or mean the perfume should be burned as incense. Follow the product instructions. A Bakhoor name does not reveal every note or establish longevity.
Start from a familiar preference
Raghba Lattafa 100 ml is worth investigating if you like sweetness with incense: Lattafa lists sugar, incense, vanilla, oud, musk and sandalwood. The store describes leather, oud and frankincense among Wild Colt Intense ASSAF 100 ml’s notes. This does not rank its strength against Raghba. Blue Laverne Bakhur 100 ml is another candidate if that exact edition interests you; match its name, picture and size and ask about the description instead of purchasing solely because of the word Bakhur.
Test one question at a time
Where testing is possible, try one candidate. Record whether you enjoy sweetness alongside incense or prefer another direction. Consider the later impression as well as the opening. Testing several fragrances together makes it harder to identify what you like.
Know when to stop
